HORSHAM, Australia -- Feb 27/96 -- STAT -- There was no surprise in this week's confirmation pulse production nearly doubled in Australia this winter. Rains throughout much of the calendar year broke the drought which savaged yields in 1994, allowingoutput to jump 96% on a 5.6% increase in seeded area.
