Green Lentils Keep Setting Records
PANAMA - Nov 2/15 - SNS -- Bids to Canadian farmers for green lentils pushed further into record high price territory during the past week.
Records were set for all grades of large and medium green lentils, and all grades of small green except for extra 3 Canada.
Farmers are not seeing record bids for red lentils, though they are in decile nine territory. That means they have only been higher less than 10% of the time during the history of the crop in Canada.
