Lentils Exports From Australia Open With Strong Tone
PANAMA - May 2/24 - SNS -- So far during the marketing year with their a firmer tendency, with lentils shipments for Australia rocketed relative to the previous month in March, according to official trade data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Export sales during the month reached 210,881 metric tons (MT), up from 123,750 MT the previous month. This lifted export sales so far during the marketing year to 764,425, up 14% last year.
Current movement statistics reported Bangladesh was top destination, receiving 99,207 MT in the month. India was the second most important buyer taking 64,645 MT, followed by Sri Lanka at 22,439 MT.
