Lentil Exports From Canada Record A Better Performance
PANAMA - May 2/24 - SNS -- Export shipments of lentils for Canada rose slightly compared to the previous month in March, available data from Statistics Canada reveals.
Export sales reached 121,059 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 17% from the 103,877 MT exported the previous month. Export sales so far total 1,192,715 MT, compared to 1,565,679 in the same period the previous marketing year.
The most recent movement statistics reported India was biggest destination, buying 23,671 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important destination taking 19,993 MT, followed by Pakistan at 12,898 MT.
