Commodity Prices and Price Graphs
Access to the price graphs is limited to subscribers to the regular and Platinum versions of the STAT website. To learn about becoming a subscriber, please click on the "subscribe" link.
Graphs are updated every weekend and show the closing weekly price for grower, dealer and/or export markets. They include up to 10 years of data. Using the slider at the bottom of the graph you can select up to 10 years, or pick various period. When data is grouped, you can hide and unhide products.

These charts track the spread between the grower and dealer markets for selected products. Charts include the graph for the commodity as well as the calculated weekly basis spread. Basis gives you a sense of whether or not offers from growers were below or above the needs of the market.
Chickpeas, lentils and peas include inland freight as well as local handling processing charges. Canaryseed only include local processing and handling charges.

These charts combine volatility graphs with those for selected grower and export markets. When there are sudden changes in volatility is usually signals a change in price direction. This kind of signal is helpful for people across the marketing chain. It does not predict the level of future prices, but suggests a change in direction.
