Lentil Markets Remain Quiet
VANCOUVER - Feb 17/12 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week little changed against limited trading interest, though greens ended with an easier undertone and reds with a firmer tone.
Delegates attending the Global Pulses Conclave in Mumbai, India were told to expect declines in lentil area in Canada, Australia, and Turkey.
Red lentils are expected to drop proportionately more than greens, reflecting the wider than normal spread between the two classes.
