Small Green Lentils Firm
VANCOUVER - Dec 9/11 - SNS -- Lentil finished the week's trading on a mixed note, despite reports of improved buying interest for small caliber green lentils from Mexico.
This has helped lift grower bids for small caliber or Eston type green lentils to a premium to those for large or Laird-type greens.
Some market participants believe Mexico will end up consumer more than the usual quantity of small, green lentils in the coming months.
