Red Lentil Grower Price Review in U.S.
VANCOUVER - Sep 19/22 - STAT -- American Red Lentil markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 44% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Red Lentil was USD$38.46 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $26.67 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $40.00 per cwt in June, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $30.00 per cwt in August.
