Red Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian Red Lentil markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices rocketing 31% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Red Lentil was USD$39.57 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $30.21 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $45.38 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $32.75 per cwt in July.
