Mixed Performance in Lentils
PANAMA - Mar 25/22 - SNS -- Canadian lentil exporters were pleased to see the CP Rail and its employees get back to work even though export movement remain relatively slow.
Markets, however, ended the week's trading on a somewhat mixed note, with modest gains in North American reds offset by moderate easing in greens, reflecting grower selling interest relative to the immediate needs of processors and exporters.
Australian red lentil markets were also easier on the week as shippers covered in their needs and worried about prospective demand from the Indian subcontinent now that the regions farmers are delivering new crop product.
