Australia's Lentils Exports Open With Strong Tone
PANAMA - Mar 3/22 - SNS -- Movement of lentilss for Australia leapt compared to the previous month in January, trade data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.
Export sales for the first month of the marketing year totalled 137,977 metric tons (MT), up 170% from 51,090 MT the previous month. The data showed movement was up 2% from the 225,880 MT recorded in the same month last year.
The most important destination throughout the month was Bangladesh, buying 84,696 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important destination buying 20,720 MT, followed by India at 11,630 MT.
