No 1 Eston Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/21 - STAT -- Canadian No 1 Eston Lentil markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 30% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 1 Eston Lentil was CDN$31.62 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $24.38 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $35.60 per cwt in March, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $25.88 per cwt in September.
