Lentil Exports From Canada Reveal Better Performance
PANAMA - Nov 5/21 - SNS -- Canada's exports of lentils during September rocketed versus the previous month, according to data from Statistics Canada.
Total shipments during the month reached 281,854 metric tons (MT), up 211% from the previous month's total of 90,732. So far movement has reached 372,586 MT, down from 436,181 during the previous marketing year.
For the month, India was the number one consumer, receiving 103,254 MT. Turkey was the second most important importer buying 86,555 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 28,239 MT.
