Bulk Lentil Movement Slowed In July
WINNIPEG - Aug 20/21 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 133,900 metric tons (MT) lentils were loaded for export through licensed facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in July.
The CGC reports 143,100 MT were shipped the same month last year, while movement is down from the 159,900 MT shipped the previous month.
This lifted bulk loadings for the marketing year to 1,186,100 MT, compared to 1,169,700 MT last season.
