PANAMA - Mar 5/21 - SNS -- Canada's exports of lentils in January fell versus the previous month, according to data from Statistics Canada.
The latest statistics showed shipments for the month totalled 106,931 metric tons (MT), down 36% from 166,538 the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, exports were up 29% from 1,015,138 MT.
United Arab Emirates was the largest destination for the month, receiving 29,616 MT. Turkey was the second most important buyer buying 17,435 MT, followed by India at 11,430 MT.
