Easier Tone in Birdseeds
PANAMA - Jul 31/16 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets on an easier note, helped by optimism about crop conditions in Canada.
Though there has been some deterioration in the condition of pulse crops in Saskatchewan, the provincial agriculture department reports 91% of canaryseed fields in the province are in good to excellent condition.
This reflects the capacity of the crop to withstand the kind of weather events which affect yield and quality prospects in pulses.
