Birdseeds Remain Mixed
PANAMA - Apr 5/24 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished ther week's trading on a mixed note.
While Canadian canaryseed and U.S. white proso millet were unchanged on the week, sunflower seed markets showed moderate strength because of expectations of a smaller harvest this yherar.
If yields in the United States are at their recent five year averages, total sunflower seed output could drop from 166,437 to 138,100 metric tons (MT).
