Turkey's Sunflower Seed Imports Post A Better Result
PANAMA - Apr 30/24 - SNS -- Turkey's imports of sunflower seeds in February rocketed versus the previous month, according to data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Imports reached 28,808 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 78% from the 16,148 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 44,956 MT, versus 235,749 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Recent movement statistics revealed Other was top exporter, supplying 10,551 MT during the month. China was the second most important supplier supplying 6,257 MT, followed by Bulgaria at 5,508 MT.
