Sunflower Seed Imports By China Post A Firm Result
PANAMA - Apr 3/24 - SNS -- Imports of sunflower seeds by China showed modest gains, advancing compared to the previous month in January, official trade data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available shows.
Imports during the first month of the calendar year totalled 25,305 metric tons (MT), up 9% from 23,304 MT the previous month. The data showed imports was down 24% from the 33,351 MT recorded during the same month last year.
Current trade data showed Kazakhstan was most important exporter, shipping 17,111 MT for the month. Bulgaria was the second most important export origin selling 7,125 MT, followed by Russia at 1,066 MT.
