Few Changes in Birdseeds
PANAMA - Nov 8/15 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets in North America finished the week's trading on a mixed note, but with little overall price change.
U.S. white proso millet markets were unchanged in relatively light trading activity during the past week. Confection sunflower prices eased in the face of improved grower selling of new crop product, while oil-type sunflower followed the lead of oilseed markets.
Canadian canaryseed markets were nominally unchanged on the week, though continued weakness in the Canadian dollar is giving processors more room to negotiate with growers.
