Sunflower Seed Exports From China Post Easy Opening
PANAMA - Apr 3/24 - SNS -- China's movement of sunflower seeds during January were somewhat lower, slipping versus the previous month, according to data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.
Exports during the opening month of the calendar year totalled 67,293 metric tons (MT), down 1% from 68,116 MT the previous month. The data revealed exports is up 64% from the 41,124 MT reported during the same month last year.
The biggest importer throughout the month was Iran, taking 14,547 MT. Iraq was the second most important consumer receiving 8,069 MT, followed by Vietnam at 6,168 MT.
