Firm Finish In Lentils

PANAMA - Oct 18/15 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week's trading on a firm note, helped by steady export movement.

Most lentils are shipped in containers, but bulk conventional shipments are becoming increasingly important.

This is evident in the latest Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) data, which reveals bulk movement between August 1 and October 11 was almost three times the quantity shipped during the same period last year.
