Lentil Export Pace Quickening

PANAMA - Oct 10/15 - SNS -- The pace of export movement from Canada appears to be quickening, with bulk conventional shipments from Canada and movement to port positions rising significantly over this time last year.

Relatively strong movement is being reflected in export asking prices, with trading levels reported for large green lentils remaining strong.

This is especially true of markets in South America, which once again cannot count on competing supplies from Argentina to play interference with U.S. and Canadian exporters.
