Canaryseed Mood Tense
VANCOUVER - Jun 6/15 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets posted a mixed finish on the week, influenced by worried about growing conditions across much of the continent.
Frost events in Canada did not help the mood of canaryseed exporters in that country, focusing attention on that fact that only 42% of the crop is rated in good to excellent condition.
The implication is that the majority of the crop needs conditions to be closer to perfect to lift crops out of the fair to poor category.
