Few Changes in Lentils
VANCOUVER - Jan 25/14 - SNS -- International lentil markets were little changed during the past week as offers from processors and growers remained closely aligned to the short term needs of the market.
Red lentils seemed to be the most active class during the week, with trading reported in both spot and new crop shipping positions.
Markets remain optimistic India will be a keen buyer of red lentils in 2014, while green and red lentil demand from the Middle East and North Africa is expected to remain relatively strong.
