Birdseed Tone Turns Firmer
VANCOUVER - Jan 25/15 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week on a firmer note, helped by strength in white proso millet and oil-type sunflower seed.
Sunflower managed a modest gain on the week despite weakness in U.S. denominated oilseed markets.
Interestingly, the U.S. based National Sunflower Association reports the "birdfood market continues to offer a premium to the crush plant price."
