Mixed Week in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Oct 11/14 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets posted a mixed finish on the week against relatively light trading interest.
Canadian canaryseed eased slightly, while white proso millet was unchanged and oil-type sunflower firmer despite weakness in canola and soybeans.
The USDA pegged production of all types of sunflower at 1.113 million metric tons (MT), up from 922,038 MT last year.
