Weather Worries Support Lentils
VANCOUVER - Aug 16/14 - SNS -- Lentil markets were little changed during the past week over worries that too much of the Canadian crop could still be affected by unexpected weather events.
This reflects the fact that a significant portion of the crop is developing more slowly.
Markets were also quiet in anticipation of next week's production forecast and what should be the final seeded area estimate from Statistics Canada.
