Mixed Week in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Jun 20/14 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading unchanged to firmer in sympathy with grain and oilseed markets.
Oil-type sunflower seed markets were generally higher in line with rising canola and soybean values. Confection sunflower and white proso millet markets were sideways in limited trade.
Canaryseed was also nominally unchanged, with offers from growers closely aligned with the short term needs of the market.
