Few Changes in Lentils

VANCOUVER - Sep 7/13 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week little changed, with offers from growers and processors readily meeting the short term needs of the market.

Warm temperatures continue to speed up crop maturity in western Canada, with the result the harvest is over half complete, which is normal for the first week of September.

Environment Canada forecasts for the coming week suggest overnight lows will be in the plus five to seven degree range by mid-week, with daytime highs remaining in the 20s.
