No 1 Richlea Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/13 - STAT -- Canadian No 1 Richlea Lentil markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 20% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 1 Richlea Lentil was CDN$20.95 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $26.11 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $23.13 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $19.00 per cwt in March.
