Mixed Week in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Jun 22/13 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note despite ongoing buying by domestic birdseed mixers.
U.S. white proso millet seed posted its first week over week decline since the middle of October with markets no longer expecting a significant weather event to significantly reduce production.
Oil-type sunflower seed markets advanced in sympathy with oilseed markets; while confection sunflower markets were unchanged.
