Canaryseed Crisis Helps Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Jun 8/13 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading unchanged to firmer.
White proso and confectionary sunflower seed markets in the United States were unchanged, with millet remaining at record high levels in both grower and inter-dealer markets.
Canadian canaryseed was also unchanged on the week, with market sentiment helped by the unexpectedly slow pace of seeding this year's crop.
