Millet Still Setting New Record Highs
VANCOUVER - Apr 13/13 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets maintained their firm tone through the past week, with white proso millet continuing to set new record high trading levels.
Tight supplies stemming from last year's drought reduced harvest is combining with a new set of weather concerns to keep markets on edge.
Oil-type sunflower markets, by contrast, were slightly easier, while confectionary sunflower was unchanged in limited trading volume.
