Few Changes in Lentils
VANCOUVER - Aug 31/12 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week mostly unchanged as offers from growers remained closely aligned with the short term needs of the market.
The North American harvest made excellent progress during the week in both Canada and the United States.
Saskatchewan Agriculture reports 55% of that province's lentil crop was in the bin as the week got underway. The U.S. harvest is much more advanced, with crop reporters saying it is 91% complete in North Dakota and 93% in Montana.
