Extra 3 Eston Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/12 - STAT -- Canadian Extra 3 Eston Lentil markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 9% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Extra 3 Eston Lentil was CDN$19.29 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $21.24 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $21.50 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $16.00 per cwt in July.
