Few Changes in Lentil Market

VANCOUVER - Jul 20/12 - SNS -- International lentil markets were little changed with grower selling interest remaining slightly ahead of the short term needs of the market.

The North American harvest continued to make progress during the past week. As the week got underway, Montana reported 7% of the lentils grown there were in the bin, helping with the transition into a new crop pricing basis in the United States.

Canadian markets will more forcefully make the transition once this yea's harvest gets underway.
