Few Changes in Lentils
VANCOUVER - Apr 6/12 - SNS -- International lentil markets were little changed in holiday shortened trading activity, with most traders in Europe and the Americas closed both Friday and the coming Monday for the Easter weekend.
Limited commercial trading activity was reported, though the USDA was active during the week.
It confirmed the purchase of 2,000 metric tons (MT) of lentils and tendered for another 1,500 MT for food aid. Both parcels are for shipment from origin processing plants during May.
