Easier Undertone in lentils

VANCOUVER - Mar 3/12 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week's trading with a generally easier undertone as offers from growers and processors moved ahead of the short term needs of consumers and exporters.

Canadian small green lentils were an exception, helped by ongoing demand from Mexico and other destinations.

This has lifted grower bids to a 4.25 cent per pound or U.S. $95 per metric ton (MT) premium over large green lentils.
