Lentils Unchanged to Easier
VANCOUVER - Dec 17/11 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week's trading unchanged to slightly easier against seasonally light buying interest.
This saw offers from exporters move slightly ahead of the short term needs of buyers, resulting in a downward trend in asking prices for green lentils.
Red lentil markets remain discounted to green, but found some comfort in news pulse seeding in India for the rabi or winter cropping season has slipped behind last year.
