All's Quiet on lentil Front

VANCOUVER - Nov 26/11 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week on a quiet note, in part because of the holiday shortened trading week in the United States.

That country's Thanksgiving Day weekend also marks the beginning of the Christmas and New Year's holiday period, which typically results in seasonally slower trading activity.

Volatile currency markets and economic uncertainty is adding to the slow tone in markets, with buyers showing little interest in adding to positions except on a hand to mouth basis.
