Lentil Markets Relax

VANCOUVER - Nov 11/11 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week's trading on a slightly easier tone, mainly due to another volatile week on international currency markets.

This is contributing to reluctance on the part of some importers to buy additional product at this time because of worries currency fluctuations will make it hard to sell landed goods competitively.

Exports of Canadian lentils have started the 2011-12 marketing year on a torrid pace on account of a massive increase in bulk conventional movement to Turkey.
