VANCOUVER - Aug 1/11 - STAT -- Canadian 7mm Kabuli Chickpea markets finished the 2010-11 marketing year with prices offered to growers leaping 11% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for 7mm Kabuli Chickpea was CDN$568.56 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $511.17 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $617.30 per MT in March, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $511.46 per MT in August.
