Chickpeas Steady, But Hopeful
PANAMA - Apr 26/24 - SNS -- Chickpea markets were relatively steady in seasonally light trade during the past week.
Some fill in activity was reported in among net exporters in order to cover immediate shipping commitments.
Interestingly, there is persistent speculation that India may ease import tariffs on chickpeas. The idea is fueled by India's efforts to facilutate imports of peas and lentils.
