Firmer Note For Lentils

VANCOUVER - Jun 4/11 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week's trading on a firmer note against worries about the amount of acres that will be planted in western Canada and the United States this year.

More importantly, while grower markets are showing signs of improvement, prospective returns from the crop are viewed as uncompetitive with canola and cereal grains.
