Mixed Week For Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Apr 9/11 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets posted a mixed finish during the past week as markets in the face of volatility in outside markets.
Markets for white proso millet and confectionary sunflower were unchanged; while grower bids for oil-type sunflower were mixed, with bids in some regions easing, while they rose in others.
Canadian canaryseed registered the weakest performance as growers seemed eager to move additional product before seeding gets underway.
