Lentils Maintain Tone
VANCOUVER - Jan 7/11 - SNS -- Green lentil markets maintained their firm tone through the Christmas and New Year's holiday season, with grower bids remaining at the upper end of their historic ranges for all grades.
By contrast, red lentils are showing an easier tone, with demand slipping just behind offers from growers.
By week's end, many market participants were preparing to travel to Saskatoon for this year's Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Association annual meeting.
