Mixed Finish For Lentils
VANCOUVER - Dec 17/10 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week on a somewhat mixed note, though nominal asking prices for most classes of product and most origins remain firm.
Demand for lentils is not as strong as was the case last year because some buyers imagine larger world crops ought to result in lower prices.
This is certainly not the case for top grade lentils, which are in fundamental short supply in the world.
