Unease Builds in Lentil markets
VANCOUVER - Dec 3/10 - SNS -- Canadian lentil markets finished the week's trading with a increased sense of unease following release of Statistics Canada's final crop estimates.
This year's harvest estimate was increased significantly from October because of better yields and a major increase in the seeded area estimate to 3.48 million acres.
The number was attacked Friday as being wrong, in part because growers are not showing much interest in selling lentils.
