Tensions Intact in Lentils
VANCOUVER - Nov 26/10 - SNS -- Tension in Canadian lentil markets remains at a relatively high level heading into the coming week's final crop production estimates from Statistics Canada.
The numbers should also contain a break down of production by class, but they do not contain any thoughts about output by grade, which is beyond Statistics Canada's current mandate.
While the harvest was still underway, Statistics Canada estimated output at 1.557 million metric tons (MT).
